To our PWLL Family,

After much discussion the Prince William Lassie League Board has cancelled the Spring 2020 season as of today. By canceling now we will be able to refund 100% of your registration costs within 7-14 business days with minimal financial impact on the league.

Due to operational costs such as field permits and insurance fees, if we were to postpone this decision and then cancel it would either greatly reduce the amount we could refund you or create a financial burden that the league could not withstand. 

Please know that we did not make this decision lightly. Factors that contributed to this decision include the closing of Prince William County schools through April 14 as well as the Prince William County Department of Parks & Recreation closing of permitted fields through March 31. 

We understand that many players will be disappointed. If circumstance allow, it is our hope to offer a shortened season once the safety precautions have been lifted. We will be monitoring the situation daily. Additional information regarding a potential abridged Spring season will be communicated to you as decisions are made. 

This is a community and we are here to support one another and we will continue to reach out on a routine basis.
